You liked them in 2012, you loved them in 2013!
They are back!
Who? The amateur IIHF announce team, of course!

Recruited in a bar just before the game, and compensated with a Skoda t-shirt and a 6-pack of beer, they have lent their unmistakable cachet to the IIHF's premier event for several years now, and show no signs of being replaced with more competent personnel!

:handclap::handclap:

But the iihf want us to spend want us to spend 35 Euro to watch them online. Pathetic.
I wrote them a long and productive email last year where I politely made some suggestions like getting some small time college commentators from the US. There are countless guys who do commentary for the radio or some small local network. They would be cheap, committed and excited.

Never received a reply of course

Good lord.

That's exactly how I would sound doing play-by-play of cricket.

Is this seriously the best team the IIHF could find? Or are they just having a laugh?

"Goal! Goal! Number 20..."

WTF :laugh: I can't believe this guy's back! He is absolutely terrible. He doesn't know any of the players, can't keep up with the play and doesn't really seem to care. How is this man employed? Somebody actually interviewed him and thought he was the best available candidate????!! :laugh:
