Retro brown gloves...

Anyone know where I can get some retro brown colored gloves? I've seen people wear them, but can't really find anywhere to to buy them. Even the sites that let you order custom gloves seem to leave that retro brown color off the list.

Tron is about the only company I've seen that sells them visibly.

Those are right up there with white gloves... just horrible!

But to answer your question, no. A guy in my league has them, I'll try to check it out next weekend.

The Tron ones are ugly and horrible. Don't get them.

I got dark brown leather Eagle gloves from http://www.thehockeyshop.com/ -- you have to email them, and ask for Jesse, he can get you sorted out. I love the gloves I got. They've also gotten me a few compliments. I'm sure a lot of people think I'm a doofus for getting them, but to hell with 'em.

mind if i ask what you paid for them? also, got any pics you can share?

brown is my favorite color, and i think it would look really cool with my team's color scheme/image.

I love the vintage look. Eagle makes the best ones, a model called H34:

these are 14" and hard though not impossible to find. 14" is too big for me so I had Eagle make me customs in a 13". cost was a little less than $200 and took about 8 weeks. you have to have a retailer as a middle man. I used Jesse at the Hockey Shop. he handled everything via email.

one word of warning about the H34: it is made of 100% goat leather so in the Summer the gloves are VERY hot because the hide doesn't really breathe at all.

The brown is a bit darker than the goat leather shoeshine boy posted, which you can also see the h35 version here.

Not sure this pic really accurately gets the color right, but it gives a decent idea (compare it the brown leather in the Aero Pro link below).

They're basically modified Aero Pros (you can actually see the leather option on that page, it's very very similar to what I have, and more accurately reflects the brown leather color). Cost was a bit over $200 CAD with shipping etc., took about 7 weeks. If I had to do anything over, all I'd do is ask to remove the black racing stripe thingy (the way I did the thumb stuff), or see if that's possible. The plain leather Aero Pros in the link above has the stripe there, but the same color as the leather, but it'd be cool to just have nothing at all, like the goat leather H35s have. Welp.
