3/5 Hammers tonight. Wheelers pots 2, Joshua still impressing, Snerg with a crotch burner, Helle close to another bagel. Team play about as good as they could in the 1st and 2nd for a team that so much time off but the 3rd was kinda off putting. Game in hand 3 points back of the Stars

First game back after a long layoff. Some obvious rust, and could have easily been a trap game. Glad they pulled the win off. They really need to get DeMelo back. Still not a fan of Bowness pulling Perfetti and Ehlers out of the top six to try and grind out board battles in the final 10 minutes of the game.

To be fair, them having a shitty OT record hurts their record - they don't get the bonus point that OT winners do. Most people tend to see it the opposite way.

Samberg took a good shot right to the family jewels, just like Wheeler did, so I hope he's OK. It wasn't a blistering hard slap shot but hard enough to hurt like hell, and possibly cause some damage. I can see why these guys wear a cup, coz if they didn't that could really cause some damage. I think he'll be ok, as he did skate off on his own steam.

I think they're using F-22's, not F-18s to shoot them down.

The shootdown over North Carolina was the F22's first Air to Air kill - No one even tries to challenge that plane in the skies.
