I’m a Canucks season ticket holder and don’t think they will trade them but what is a realistic package that the Rangers could send to the Canucks for him?

Don’t see how a trade would be possible.

Canucks are just going to ruin their center depth and create a huge hole in their lineup?

Rangers don’t have anything to offer that makes sense.

I think this is just clickbait given JT is out and NYR are a mess. Not sure what canucks need/want but I dont think there would be a fit?

JT Miller was our best Forward last season, and he was an absolute monster in the playoffs, he’s injured this season and he’s off to a decent start.

But obviously, there’s some things going on, I just don’t see why they would trade him, he’s way too important, and he’s way too good.

Zib (for cap) and maybe the defenseman they just drafted last year in the first round?
You’re talking about 100 Point Centre who’s been a monster in the playoffs, as recent as last year.

And that’s the offer?

The JT Miller slander is so annoying, he’s one of the best players in the league, he is a beast.

Zibanejad, Othmann, Mancini and a pile of picks if they want to leave the roster as untouched as possible
JT Miller is “ struggling “ and is a PPG and +1 Coming off basically 2 100 point seasons, and a huge playoffs.

Like, what is going on here?🤦‍♂️

There is zero reason to trade Miller.

He's generally been our best forward, best face off guy, and has been reliable on both ends of the rink. And, despite him being 31 years old, he isn't showing any signs of slowing down. At 8mil per season, his contract looks more and more like a discount with every passing year...

If he were traded, we would need a young center coming back who could step into the top 6 soon. Then, I don't even know what else... I guess a draft picks... Prospects that are ready to step in can only do us so good considering we have Willander, Lekkermaki, and potentially others knocking at the door... You can only bring so many prospects into the line up at a time...

I can’t see the Nucks trading Coach’s Pet Miller. But if they did they could get a haul that could make their team better by chemistry alone. Boston needs a 1C. NYR just needs a huge shakeup.

Zibanajed is having a rough go in NY. I could see him healing with fellow Swede Petey under the Swedish regime in Vancouver.

What does you being a season ticket holder have anything to do?

Why do I bring that up? Cause I wanna see a good team on the ice and I’m investing a lot of money to see my favourite team play decently?

I also want this team to be set up for the future to make it worthwhile

You're as likely to trade for JT as we are to trade for Fox or Igor. Rangers did their due diligence, the answer was no, and both sides moved on. This doesn't need a thread lol

You can have Zibanejad for him, otherwise 0 interest.

Note, this is me saying that's all that I'd give up, not that's all he's worth. Quite frankly, i'd rather see the Rangers rebuild again than get wiped in the first round after loading up

Would be very Rangers to let a young player peak elsewhere, then overpay to bring him back for the twilight of his career.

Rangers should've included Schneider a few years back, that was their opportunity to get Miller.

Canucks aren't trading him now (and glad we didn't then frankly).
Their opportunity to get miller was when they had miller and they traded him (and mcdonagh) for Hajek Namestikov Howden 1st 2nd

When you get a player like JT Miller, you don't frigging trade that guy, maybe if it was McDavid, Drai, Bouchard at 50% retained you start to consider it, but under no circumstances do you trade JT FRIGGING Miller
