Any push back from Germany? Doubtful. Switzerland wins and relegates Germany 5-3.

No way Germany scores 3 goals in one game.
Before the tournament I had some hope for their offense, but the way they've been playing, that hope is gone.

Switzerland takes this 4-1.

question about the prospect who got drafted in the first round... is he playing ? i know is in the minors atm but when could we see him in the nhl

Do you mean Fiala (Switzerland) or Draisaitl (Germany)?

Fiala is playing in the game, and I haven't followed him enough to know when he would come over and play in the NHL. Draisaitl has been playing for Edmonton in the NHL, though most think he is not ready and should be playing in the minors. He is not in the game, and is likely to be sent down to the minors immediately after the game if Switzerland wins (for long convoluted reasons).

Undoubtedly the worst team in this WJC that gets relegated.

Too bad for the Germans but it is the right result.

See what Belarus can accomplish next year and one would say the Germans have a good chance to bounce back up for 16/17

Belarus had many 19 year old players in this year roster, only 4 players (3x18 years, 1x17 years) are available for next year.

Not sure if there is a way to change it but I wish the teams that got bumped up got to use their roster that resulted in them getting bumped up.

I remember France in 02 I think had a decent team that got them bumped up but most of those players were gone and they were really bad.

Does anyone who knows the rules tell me whether Vladislav Kodola is age eligible next year? Also I'm not sure the fact there's few returnees next year means that much in Belarus case. I feel like they have the biggest player pool to pick from amongst these yo-yo teams and always have the oldest team in the tournament on average. That said they never seem to have the best prospects in tournaments, but they can pull a player out of nowhere and he will make an impact, like in this case - Artur Buinitsky
