We let Lehner come in our building and beat us last time. Payback time....

I'm much more worried about Eichel and O'Reilly than I am about Lehner.

How long are we going to have to suffer through Lehner-tinted glasses considering he's such a mediocre goalie?

Let it go.

Playing as we currently are, there isn't a team in the NHL we can consistently beat. I fear another embarrassing loss coming up.

I have this feeling that Eichel is going to go off on the sens. Maybe a 4 point night and a hat trick.

Hope I'm wrong of course.

False. We played great hockey against Detroit and Colorado, not as much vs CBJ.

We ran into 3 great goalies and our goalies haven't been as good, that's basically why we lost all 3.

If anything, last 3 games are a bad indicator for us cause that means we will be winning a lot of upcoming games and finish with 10th spot or something.

Lol what.

I think he is referencing the fact that Lehner was real bad both on Tuesday and Thursday of this past week, but probably had not caught today's scores yet to see he had a nice outing vs the Avs.

He is what he was when he was with us: an up-and-down goalie. Nothing has changed in that regard.

That inconsistency smoothes out with age.

How many hat tricks have we given up this year? It's gotta be highest in the league.

Boedker x 2 (lol just lol)
Hayes
Crosby

I think there was another one that I'm missing.

I think we've actually played 3 fairly well-played games since the Phaneuf trade, at least from a skill level point.

We have been getting a lot of bounces against us. Missing out on 6 points in the standings is huge and probably sewers any chances we had of the playoffs, but I don't think you can take those three games and project pessimism for the future from them. We could definitely play better, but we didn't play poorly.

Once again, it seems that our lack of a system is what's killing us. We are very easy to play against, because we are very poorly coached. The individual skill is there at the moment (save for maybe a player or three here and there).

I don't see how anyone can make a a serious claim that the Senators played well against Columbus.

They definitely played well against Detroit and Colorado however.
