Great job, Sheng. There's a lot there. I wonder how many goals Mersch has scored while not standing up.
I liked the interview with Chris Hajt about Kevin Gravel and Zac Leslie. I didn't realize he had that history with Leslie. I would have liked to hear him comment on what they needed to work on. It was almost passively positive, which makes me nervous about their potential.
Interestingly, Zykov's Corsi For % is right up there with Mersch and Dowd, even though he's been flipping back and forth between the second and third lines. It sounds like he's taking his defensive development seriously.

I've never had anybody apologize for this, but thank you! I really do appreciate the kind words.
I did ask Hajt in a very direct way...my exact question was "What's between Gravel and the NHL?"...but my general impression from the coaching staff so far is they prefer stressing the positive, which makes sense from their end. I'd probably get a more illuminating answer from the player himself or Reign management.
Honestly, I think Zykov's figure is mostly driven by playing with Mersch and Dowd, even with his line flipping. But I could be wrong; maybe at end of season, I'll dig through data to make WOWYs. I'm very curious what happens to Ontario when Mersch gets called up, he does so much for them. At this point, I don't believe they have anything close to a suitable replacement.
