Not expecting much here but a player in this mold is probably a better choice to have sitting in the press box than a Dermott type who you know for sure isn't anything.
Makes it even more questionable why the organization signed pylon Josh Brown to a 3 yr deal if that's the case.

That was a terrible move before pen was put to paper, before the first fragment of the thought was constructed in Jj’s brain.
At least he charges 0 on the cap; that’s all I’ve got for Brown.

I'm curious what he can bring, I can only remember bits about the player from games again Chicago, but I think more size won't hurt the group.
Low expectations, but he does appear to be a depth defenseman.
Dermott is a nice guy, but yeah better served as a #8 or 9.
