Lundqvist took his team further but I don't think they're as bad as the 2002 Habs. Give the nod to Theordore.

That Rangers team was not great. If you look at advanced stats, the Rangers were 23rd in Corsi, were 5th in scoring chances against (25 team were better than them), 8th in high danger scoring chances (22 better than them). They fall bottom third in almost all significant categories.

I'm not even using that as a reason for one over the other. Just commenting, that in general, those Ranger teams were overrated because of Lundqvist. They were not a great team despite their record. They were an extremely hard team to beat in 11-12 because Lundqvist in his prime was could will mediocrity to win quite a bit of games.

Honestly, I think the Rangers were largely overrated during much of Henrik's tenure.
