Damn I needed to bust out the hockeydb for this one, which is VERY rare for me when it comes to players that have donned the Panthers uniform but holy shit I have absolutely NO recollection of Bergfors ever playing for the Panthers.

Players who were on NJ and FLA usually stick in my memory, so I remembered Bergfors, but some of those others could be made up and I wouldn’t know the difference

In 2005, we literally could have just not attended the draft at all (or just pick randomly and still do better than this). Thankfully Dale turned that around eventually though...

Taticek was one of the worst. We could have picked half a dozen other useful players that year that went in the late 1st l/early 2nd

Saw people say that Samoskevich will get demoted / might just get scratched in POs... I disagree. I think Maurice is going to give him a shot. He's more than earned it.

Mackie is 5th on the team in hits (129) while averaging all of 13 minutes a night and towering in at 5'11. 90 of those hits have come in the last 36 games.

This kid understands the assignment and is ready for the playoffs.

Edit-Nevermind I only had to go back 5 years to an ever worse draft by the Panthers LOL

Quickly browsing hockeydb it looks like only the Sens have had a worse draft but oh dear god.
