Watching Matthews history unfold is crazy

What's crazier though, Rick Vaive did it 3 years in a row with 100+ PIM per season and multiple fights per season

It's amazing to watch Matthews. He's one of those special players. When he got his speed up over the blue line in overtime you could feel a goal coming.

Regardless of how they outplayed them and should of been up by more goals, the first softy on jack, a few bad plays by the D etc.

I'm going to remember Matthews doing that. What a beaut.

A few thoughts:
*Matthews...does anything need to be said? My goodness.
*Defensive breakdowns are still a concern. While many will harp on Campbell and save percentage, the ability other teams have to get in front of the net and disrupt, attack, deflect...unacceptable.
*Marner's passing is otherworldly.
*A better game from Muzzin, some better speed and awareness. Not there yet, but encouraging.
*I like Blackwell, but I might consider throwing him on LW and seeing what Abruzzese is capable of at C, with Spezza on RW. Face-offs can be had by JS.
*I'm not upset with Keefe rotating the D to see what does and doesn't work, but to my eyes, Liljegren should be in starting the playoffs. His ability to move the puck up the ice is better than Holl's or Boosh's.
