Nice pickup. Liked what I saw from Blackwell on Seattle, if Kase isn’t re-signed I think Blackwell could fill that void no problem. He reminds me of a right handed Kerfoot.
I think Kase career is done, and Kerfoot gets moved out for cap relief in off-season.

Blackwell slots in nicely for them

Muzzin looked a step quicker out there. I think he’s closer to a 3rd pair d-man now and that’s fine, he’s more than capable as long as he’s not paired with Holl.
He certainly did I thought he looked as good as anytime during this season but he still isn't the guy from 2 years ago! Brodie looked very comfortable with him but Brodie pairs up well with everybody on the roster

Gio and Holl looked good together as well and the minutes they got seemed a perfect match, I'm thinking this pair gets a few more games together to see if it really works. The stretch coming up the Canadiens, Sabres and then Washington should tell you all you need to know.

Lube IMO looked a little overmatched on more than a few shifts and I keep seeing this, I like the guy but I don't think you can play him against the opponents top line and certainly not in the storm that's coming. Sounds crazy but I'd give Timmy the spot beside Morgs and see how he handles it. I know how good he looks with Gio, but I think what he does and how he plays the game matches up better with Rielly
Their defense literally looked like pylons on the GWG.
Sure did, but think about it, if you were on that ice Kat you'd be watching Austin Matthews do his thing as well;)

What? Lmao He always does that hand gesture with the finger wiggling to the crowd. How the f**k is that showboating? Ovechkin celebrates in crazy fashion, no one whines about that.
He did a little more this time. Nodding and waving his hands.

Buddy, if I think it's showboating, some testosterone filled goon at the receiving end of being owned by a superior player and enduring a game filled with taunts and snide remarks will DEFINITELY think it's showboating. Now that he's broke the record, couldn't hurt to tone it down a bit.

But hey, it's no prob. Some internet dude said "LMAO!" so there's no worries! Absolutely no risk of him getting boarded now. I wonder if I can solve all of my problems just by saying "LMAO!" at them?

I took Dougies, Clarke, Sundin for granted. Im going to enjoy Matthews era. Who knows when you are going to find a player or players like Matthews, Marner, Tavares together

Yeah, you never know when we might get another Tyler Bozak as our number one centre!

Don't know where to put it but interesting stuff from Bob today on Overdrive. He said when the Leafs would lose to weak teams this season, management would go after the players over those losses and say if you're a great team, how can you lose to those teams? The core then responded back to management and said "don't worry about it. We will take care of business against the great teams", and they have. Of course this is just regular season so we'll see if it carries in to the post season, but this does suggest Leafs get up for the big games.

Holl bearhugged a guy, just before that fluke goal by Seguin.

Please everyone watch what he was doing.

What is he thinking? Does he think that is not a total penalty?

I dunno, this guy went to university right? Now I did too on an athletic scholarship and I have to admit, I didn't do more than the absolute minimum for homework, but man, did Holl attend any classes?

Jeez, we pick up the Boosh, and he is a top four guy, and we dumped pumpkin head on him.

If anyone doubts Dubas after that move..... And he got Blackwell.

Can we sign this guy and get a Dryden out of College Stanley Cup run?

He won the Hobey Baker?

Is he eligible? If he is, I suggest we sign him.......https://www.nhl.com/news/dryden-mckay-named-2022-hobey-baker-award-winner/c-332782348

And yeah, we are the best team from the goal out, in the NHL, I am absolutely convinced of that.

Rest our seven dmen, get Lilly back in there, most of the time, rest GIO and Muzzin and Holl and man, we gotta guard our goalender big time, cause, well, they, kinda suck.

I would feel incrementally better if Joseph Woll were our backup, or Hutchinson, rather than Kjallgren. Poor kid handles the puck like a time bomb and insists on doing it over and over.

Heck get Ayres ready to go. Be a shame if we don't have the biggest party of this century, after the pandemic because our goalies cannot stop a beach ball.

Boston, Tampa, Florida, don't scrare me at all. Nada.

But Calgary and Rangers, they have a little je ne said quoi.
