 Big win this week.
It’s going to be a frustrating season I think.
If Watt can stay healthy though…….
Maybe Matt Canada can learn a different offensive scheme instead of:

1st down: run up the middle for no gain
2nd down: incomplete pass
3rd down: 3 yard pass, 7 yards short of the 1st down marker, with no blockers around.
4th down: punt

Yeah he’s terrible. They need to run the ball way more IMO

The overwhelming number of people that wanted Dubas gone is interesting

The Athletic fan survey reached the opposite conclusion. Their summation that "the former Leafs GM could be polarizing with the fan base" rings true. Splitting Leafs Nation was a smart move by Dubas.

It's better to have half the fans fiercely devoted, and the other half fiercely against, than to have everyone complacent and apathetic.

Dubas is gone but the effects of his shitty reign will be felt for years. Remember the free picks for Hyman? Dubas didn't think those picks were fair value.

Turns out Edmonton used one of those picks to select Petrov.

All we heard during his tenure here was how much this team needed to hit on a late round gem. Well one was offered to him on a silver platter. He turned it down because sixth round picks for the rights to a player you won't be re-signing are worthless.

Another master class in asset management, Kyle Dubas style.

With 4 downs how hard can it be to get 4 yrds, 3 yrds, 3yrds, coaches like to make things to freaking complicated. If you average 3.4 yrds each Down, you move the chains. Easy cheesy :D

3. Do you think Brad Treliving is the right person to put together a Leafs team that wins the Stanley Cup?

1. Yes (645, 51.68%)

2. No (603, 48.32%)

Maybe it's based on the winning records he had in previous jobs?

:dunno:
