Sather's on thin ice with me already.. Mr Egomaniac hasn't done anything or proved he knows what he's doing for 25 years so if/when he decides to wake from his slumber I sure hope he does the right thing and signs the young man.. I still can't believe you wait till the very end to sign the most important piece to the puzzle..I'm pretty sure, knowing Glen he thinks he's smarter than rest of us ..My theory is... You F ..Around... F around.. Pretty soon you won't be around.. IMO you need to get Stepan signed and you better do it soon cause the recent past shows Sather's better at Eff'n things up than he is at building a winner..

Gorton is the one who crunches all the numbers and budgets the contracts for RFAs now.. Also, the Rangers have been quite good with RFAs for a long while now. Stepan will be signed.

it may just be me, but I believe a package of Del zotto + Boyle + 2014 pick (not 1st round), could bring back something pretty good. top defenseman, useful 3/4c and a draft pick or prospect. wonder what kind of return that could bring.

DZ's good, but calling him a top paring D man should really only be refering to an AHL team. He's a 2nd paring guy, pure as they come.

Ideally, someone like Patrick Marleau for DZ, Boyle, prospect, pick at the deadline. Marleau has a NMC, and a NASTY cap hit, along with being 33. It could never happen.
