RDS not liking our chances...

To be honest, I picked Boston over Montreal in my pool. That's what my money is telling me.. not my heart :)

Come again? We were bigger underdogs against them in 2002 and in 2004 - I cite these two series because we won both.

The Canadiens are a different team since acquiring Vanek.

Good point, 2002 was definitely more of an underdog story, but I'd be curious what the vegas odds were back then? Yesterday, I heard 9-1, today it's 8-1 apparently...

I realized most 'experts' in Montreal are predicting Boston in 7 so they can cover their ass if the habs win, they could say I predict it to be very close anyway and it could go either way.

As long as they play hard & smart... with minimal errors... and play to win.

I'm happy.

No floaters and let the chips fall where they may.

Yeah, none of them had Bruins in 4 so it's all good so far. :sarcasm:

Honestly, I like the Habs chances here. I'm quite sure the coaching staff will be unhappy about the way the game went and they'll make sure the players understand that they have to play better if they want to have a chance in game 2.

You can't ignore the fact that one team is clearly focusing on the MMA and genocide, and the other is namaste with strategy and control.

To quote myself again, we got this.

Of course the Habs are underdogs. They should be. If the Bruins win, so be it. They won't always win. I'm more concerned about the past and present chronic losers who are loading up on top draft choices and could create a dynasty before the Habs are able to reach the top.

Post of the day. NHL must change the draft system. Too many teams are winning cups due to 2 or more years of tanking. You get a McDavid, and you are half way there.

The title didn't indicate which series this was. I was thinking "Really? Nobody thinks we can take the Rangers after beating the Bruins?" Hahaha
