Pavel Buchnevich
"Pavel Buchnevich The Fake"
I like his game a little better than his teammate Kleber, although probably speaking about the same range. Good puck-mover for his size. He’s like 6’3. Skating isn’t that weak, but it’s not a strength. He needs some work there, although I think it’s passable. Defensively, I feel he’s solid, but it could get better, especially given his skating necessitates that it improves. He's okay with the puck, but doesn't have true offense in his game. I think like Kleber there’s not a clear NHL role, but it’s possible he could be a low-event bottom pair RHD. Same range as Kleber, around round 4. Played for USA at the Hlinka in the summer, and didn't do bad. Late July birthday. Committed to St. Cloud State for 2025-26. Has 0+5=5 points in 41 games this season.
