Is that a native or French last name?
He is of Congolese descent , there many people from The Democratic Republic of Congo in the Montréal area.
Is that a native or French last name?
Knew I recognized that last name.
Height: 6 foot 4
Weight: 200 lbs
Shoots: Right
DOB: 2002-03-05
From: Longueuil, QC
Other info: Nephew of a former NFL:er Tim Biakabutuka (Carolina Panthers running back)
Until today, i haven even heard of this player. I was finishing my previous thread
when i noticed that he was the only player appearing in all 4 categories and... in
all 4 categories he was in top 5, i thought...that's impressive, so, i thought he would
deserve a thread of his own.
He has played in all Foreurs games but one this season
Almost every Foreurs player has a negative +/- stat, Jérémie is +5
With that +5 number, he leads the team.
Now most, would presume that he has had a super sheltered role
in his team, now i would presume that also, that would surely explain
his high +/- stat compared to his team mates, or...
he doesn't get much of ice time - i think the first is the accurate one.
2 goals, 5 assists, 7 points +5, 12 PIM's this season in 23 games so far.
- oh i forgot, he has also 20 SOG, 4th most in the team by d-men.
If one wanna search for his highlights, go to these sites:
QMJHL – Includes live game day coverage, audio and video clips, exclusive stories, game tickets, stats, standings, schedules and features.
Val-d'Or, Foreurs
And to end this with the usual; has anyone seen his games?,
know more about him?, is he considered as a top prospect?
Good thing is it's pronounced just as it looks. No one had issues saying it when Tim Biakabutuka played football at Michigan. He was a great player that had his pro career derailed by injury. Had no clue he had a nephew playing hockey.Should go 1st overall in the 2020 draft based on his name alone. Good luck pronouncing it commentators!
At the pro level? Pure defensive damn prospect. He didn’t get signed because guys who score at his rate don’t end up in the NHL often. He’s a pretty solid skater for his size, which I think will bode well for him as he works into the pro ranksSo what kind of D is he? Offensive or defensive? Or a 2-way?
Any reason why he didn’t get drafted or signed until now?
