I'll be curious to see what kind of suitors come forward with a free agent contract for Prow once the Husky season is over. He is currently the top vote getter for the Hobey Baker after his breakout senior season. Will likely be a solid #5D/PPQB with top 4 possibilities. Reminds me a bit of a right handed Bret Hedican.

The team’s quarterback at the blue line on the power play, Prow’s leadership has helped SCSU register the nation’s third best power-play percentage in 2015-16 at 30.6 percent (30-of-98)

Of more importance, Prow’s respect on the bench placed the “C” on his sweater this season as the team’s captain. The result has been a 20-5-1 overall record for the Huskies, along with a 12-3-1 record in the always-rugged NCHC.

I can see Vancouver and Chicago making strong bids. LA Kings seem to really like player from St Cloud State. I would not be at all surprise if they make him a max ELC FA offer.

*-*-*- I forgot to put Prow's position in the thread header. If mods could adjust that in standard HF Prospects format, that would be great.

I think that Vancouver is the prefect spot for him. We need a Right handed puck moving defenseman and we have a spot in our bottom pairing for him, but I think Stecher is Bennings main target

Edler - Tanev

Hutton - ____

Tryamkin - Biega

He would have a very real spot if he chose the Canucks.

Larsen is all but assured a roster spot next year I would assume otherwise why would he come to NA to play in the A?

Like the idea of getting a college D tho. Prow or stetcher

True. Hadn't even thought of him. Replace Biega with him.

Thinks the game well. Almost never out of position. I've never seen anyone improve as much as he did in his 4 years here. He needs to get stronger to stick in the NHL but he has the smarts the skating and the shot to do it.

Penguins now have Pouliot, Schultz and Prow as youngish OFD and Letang and Daley as prime aged OFD. I'm really curious to see how this plays out in the future.

I wouldn't just look at his stats and assume he projects as an offensive defenseman.

Nick Jensen (Wings propsect) put up comparable numbers at St. Cloud State, but projects more as a steady two-way guy at the next level.

Agreed. He definitely has a good offensive game, but he is also solid defensive player. He will likely need a season in the AHL but he has the makings to be a rock solid #5D/PPQB in the NHL. Plus all those intangibles HF loves. Though seriously he does seem to have good leadership capabilities

Damn, was hoping Buffalo would be in on him as they need to stock up on D. Nelson getting reps probably wasn't a selling point for Prow, but who knows.
