Rating WC players

Everyone knows that hockey isn't played on paper, but regardless, it is fun/interesting to compare.

This is their general level, not based of three meaningless exhibition games.
It is hard to be 100% fair using a rating between 1-5, since you'd like to give some players 3,5 for instance, but try to give them the rating they are closest to. Another problem are players with relatively low ratings, but who fills really important roles to their team. Just focus on their individual rating, not their importance to the team. A guy like Hagelin is a prime example of this.

The op said the rating are not based on the 3 exhibitions games, which I'm guessing is what you did since it would make more sense based on your rating. But even then, there are a few things which I don't agree

Toews has been invisible the 3 games (offensively at least), yet he gets a better rating than Perry and Duchene who both were great?

On defense, you gave Weber a rating of 3 and I don't understand that. He was used mainly in the defensive zone to counter the big guns of the other team and he did a fantastic job. He also logged the most minutes in the team. But for some reason, you gave him the same rating as muzzin who can't even crack the lineup. You also gave Burns a 4, which I completely disagree with. He got so much offensive zone time and so much powerplay time, but he did nothing with it.

If your ratings were not based on these 3 games, then there are a lot more wrongs in them.
