Please rank these young players based on scoring now and in the future.

Dan Fritsche
Robert Nilsson
Marcel Goc
Derek Roy
Hugh Jesssieman
Jozef Balej
Mattias Weinhandl
Matthew Lombardi

Its Hugh Jessiman. I only really know him and Balej so ill rank just them. :)

1. Jessiman - Potential 1st line Winger
2. Balej - Potential 2nd line winger

Based on potential.

I´ll take "Fly-Line´s" 'ranks' and add my opinion on Marcel Goc and Dan Fritsche.

1. Jessiman (could end up as a 1st or 2nd-liner)

2. Fritsche (maybe a future 2nd-liner with 25G-45A-70P or more, but could also have a Brett Lindros´ like 'career'. If he stays healthy he could end up above Jessiman)

3. Balej (the savest guy of these four in my opinion, but thats no surprise as he will be on the Rangers roster in the upcoming season. Very likely a 2nd-line-winger)

4. Goc (Solid guy but I don´t see the offensive potential in him than the others above. Could be a great 3rd-line-Center for the Sharks who steps in as a 2nd-liner for an injured teammate. A point max of 50 and ready for NHL)

kind of hard to rank them based on current production since they all play in different leagues

but yeah top potential for the guys mentioned so far sounds right...i'd say that Nilsson also has top line potential, weinhandle has always seemed like a skilled third liner to me, but maybe he could be a 2nd liner at his best...

1. Jessiman - yeah, the first line upside is still there despite rough development... he controls every game in at the NCAA level. 75-80 pt ceiling.

2. Balej - I don't doubt him for a second. A lot of players underachieved in the AHL last season. Skill set identical to Radek Dvorak, but he should produce more points; up to 65 maybe.
3. Nilsson - good 2nd liner, 60-65 pts.
4. Fritsche - 2nd line/interim 1st line center. 60 pts.
5. Roy - very Mike York-ish top 6 forward. 50-55 pts.
6. Lombardi - no. 2 d-man, IMO. 50 pts.
7. Goc - good 3rd/2nd liner. 40-45 pts.
8. Weinhandl - 3rd liner, contributing offensively. 40 pts.

Lombardi is a forward.... Weinhandl has seen 2nd line and 1st line minutes in the bigs....

Lombardi (on potential) could be a solid #2 center or in the right sitaution be a "not true #1 center" in the same role as a Brendan Morrison style.

that doesn't necessarily make him a 1st or 2nd liner...i think he'd top out as a 2nd liner but it'll really depend on if he can take a step beyond where he's at now
