Michkov is a better player right now to be certain, but I’d take the centers, especially with size, to start a franchise.

Michkov in his rookie season is already producing at a PPG pace, looks every bit the game breaking talent he was hyped to be, and is only going to get better. With regards to Carlsson/Fantilli, they just don't have the offensive game you'd want from a franchise player. Michkov has potential to be doing what Kaprizov/Kucherov are doing.

You’re right, I probably should’ve put him at the top of that tier
