People like to get on voynov for not being the game breaker he was when he entered the league. But he is just adjusting his game like doughty did. How often do you see voynov actually make a mistake? The kid is so solid at all the little things

I'm okay with that list but I think serious consideration might be needed to flip-flop Muzzin and Voynov. Muzzin was clearly one of our best defenseman in last year's playoffs. Voynov could bounce back this year, but my list is:

I think Muzzin, Voynov and Martinez are all terrific. So any order of them I'm ok with. All are used in such different situations that they are tough to compare

That's what makes this fun...all of them have very nice attributes, none of them are consistent enough to be head and shoulders above the other two.
