Rangers you could envision in another sweater...

I think a fair number of us do it - some guys are just easy to envision in a different sweater. Perhaps it's personal bias, for example I always thought Vesey would be perfect in Buffalo - mostly because he looks like an punk ass upstate college sophomore...Getting off track...I'll give this list a shot:

Buchnevich - Jackets (a la Anisimov)
Chytil - Jackets (a la Buchnevich)
Fast - Red Wings
Howden - Panthers
Kakko - Avalanche
Kreider - Bruins
Lemieux - Flyers/Penguins (please, no)
Strome - Somewhere in the Central (STL/WPG/MIN)
DeAngelo - Islanders/Devils (please, no)
Fox - Coyotes
Hajek - Lightning
Lindgren - Capitals
Skjei - Wild
Staal - Flames
Trouba - Ducks
Shesterkin - :sarcasm: Blackhawks

Strangely enough, I’ve often taken the opposite approach — which is made somewhat easier with the NHL video game series.

Guys that would’ve looked good in Rangers jerseys:

Ryan Smyth would be the quintessential Sather selection...I could see Ladd as well...

Add a 2008 Daniel Alfredsson as another NYR tendency.

I’m surprised Slats didn’t give Ottawa or Atlanta two firsts in exchange for Hossa, just to play him with Gaborik, considering the Winter Olympics those two had together in 2002.

He signed as a UFA on a 12 year deal with the Blackhawks after back to back stanley cup failures with both the Penguins and the Red Wings sequentially in the summer of 2009.

Besides we already had Marcel Hossa

I would rather NOT envision most of them playing anywhere else than the Rangers.
Of those that "seem to be" heading elsewhere in the near future

Kreider.........Flames or yes, Bruins
Fast.......Panthers or Jets/North Stars (lol)
Strome.......Islanders or Penguins

Hank......any team that wants to win a cup.
