Nice comeback win. Panarin rules.

Still don’t know how Buch’s goal was unassisted. Panarin passes him the puck and he turns and shoots and it bounces in. Is it bc the Wild guy whacked it “with possession” and not just a deflection so they give an unassisted goal to the last Ranger to touch it?

I get that. I would rather have our young players progress than have a consistent losing culture, but I just really like Byfield and some of the other top forwards. And also I don’t want to be stuck in mediocrity. We need one more impact forward imo. Preferably a center.

Chytil and Fox were out in OT. Love to see young kids in the middle of things when it’s all on the line.

Kakko zero time in the overtime. I understand but I don’t understand the decision at the same time lol
I don't trust him enough 4v4 at this point. Still has a lot top learn. Position and fly patterns are especially crucial 4v4

Game tying goal for point 50 and GWG in the shootout for Mika, only 26 years old.

I would agree if this draft wasn’t considered as good as if not better than 2003. Luckily, if Rangers stay around 10-12 spot they can still draft a good player.
10-12 is clearly possible even if we miss the playoffs by a bit if teams like Florida, Carolina, Winnipeg, Minnesota, Arizona do well down the stretch. I just don’t see how we end up better than that if we get good goaltending the rest of the way

That’s where I stand, as great as the 2012-2017 era was, not being able to draft and develop an elite forward has cost the Rangers severely especially in that era. I do like the team much better than the AV teams, but still missing one more great potential player imo.

Just enjoy the team playing well. Nobody thought we were going to get the 2nd pick last year after finishing 6th. Chicago was 12th and picked 3rd. There are no guarantees and I'm enjoying the battle level of this team.

We were good actually in my freshman yr... I played 4th line wing.

Anytime u wanna try me tho I’m game. I’m 46 but still have a bit left in me.

liver is bigger and balls lower but I still have some ability

Anyone who thinks this win wasn’t big for this team just doesn’t get hockey. That means you.

That Buch back pass to Georgiev and the sequence to create the 2 on 1 after trapping the Wild was pure art. Wondering if that was a set play

Georgiev made some gutsy saves in that third period and overtime. Big time battle level from him. In particular that OT

As a goalie I’m offended that Panarin shootout goal counted. Trash lol

tony May have dislocated his shoulder. Don’t think he took an OT shift and he’s usually number 2 in shootouts. That may be bad news

no Kreider in OT did something happen there too?

that’s a game we’ve lost all year. Big time win by the boys

Did that really happen...a win in a game we were totally dominated?

Rare indeed but it did happen and tho likely undeserved, we'll take it as we snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat or something like that...lol

That Panarin shootout goal let's be honest, that should have been waved off but the Wild didn't score anyways.

Well that's 6 W's in the last 8 games and my hope that the boys will be playing meaningful games in the month of March would would be tremendous experience for our kids really does look like it's going to happen.

One last thing. Tho Georgie didn't have his A game, he showed how resilient he is as he made some big saves in the 3rd period and the OT to keep us in it.

I don't know what else to say...we stole one tonight but after losing plenty of games where we have dominated and lost **** it...we'll take it gladly!!...

How were we totally dominated? Were there 2 games going on tonight? I saw a ranger team that outplayed their opponent the last 2 periods even though they were down 2. I agree with most of the things you post but I don't understand how people say we were outplayed.
