I was talking with Bob Richards and he hasn't seen the CBC intro videos from our series last year. I think they're amazingly well done. Even though Ottawa lost, I like reliving that series a bit - especially during playoff time.

Enjoy:

(Game 1 was the full playoff intro for the league)

Game 2:

Game 3:

Game 4:

Game 5:

Game 6:

Game 7:

Great post, and thanks for those clips.

Although Canada is hockey mad, I was really kind of disappointed by the way some of the top hockey writers at the top news sites, e.g. the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, did not give that Rangers-Ottawa series its due.
It was a very dramatic and nerve-wracking series, yet most of Canada did not seem to appreciate the tension and peaks and valleys for both teams, and what a journey it was for both teams
It really bugged me that that series was not recognized for being exactly what we wait for all through the regular season.

I've always really respected the Ottawa Senators, both the players and their wonderful GM Bryan Murray.
Good luck to you and your team.

 Thanks man - classy as hell post.

There wasn't much media, but that's Ottawa for you. Even though we're a city of 1 million people, we're smack dab in the middle of 2 original 6 (and psycho hockey mad) cities so we usually get the short end. We kinda embrace the under-the-radar status though ;)

The first three or four intros were pretty nicely done, the last three felt redundant, copying the same clips all over again. But, I guess they filled their purpose, it's not like you are supposed to watch them all in a row afterwards, I guess.

On a sidenote, the Senators are probably my favourite Canadian team.
