Is it blasphemy to say publicly that I’m not expecting us to win tonight?.

Yeah Georgie has been “Philes Kryptonite” as indicated by his 4-1 record and ridiculous 1.40 gaa and .955 save % in his career vs them but I just can’t see us beating them 3 straight times in a a week and a half...I just don’t.

I dunno maybe Rangers do pull it off...I very much doubt it and so here’s to hoping I am wrong about the outcome this evening and shame on me for even thinking we’d not pull off the trifecta...lol

not always great for a goalie to see the same team 3 times in such a short period of time. They catch on to your tendencies a bit.

having said that, I think we win this game. It’s a must win they cannot drop both these games. You don’t play again till Feb basically. Playoffs are over at that point

I would have liked to see Shesterkin tonight to get that taste out of his mouth from Sunday night. No point playing hank with the big break coming. Not like he can get in a rhythm at this point.

but it’s almost impossible not to go back to Georgiev with how well he’s played against them. I just know it’s like getting thru the batting order the third time they know what to expect (in particular because it’s such a short period of time)
