O'Regan played under Quinn at BU, and McKegg got a good chunk of games in with Carolina last year. At worse, these guys can backfill NHL minutes if necessary. At best, they lead the top-end of the lineup for Hartford. Great depth signings.

Solid AHL signings. Danny O’Regan was a decent prospect not too long ago for the Sharks, some were really high on him. McKegg has a sick name and I liked him in the playoffs

Unless they're going to have Lettieri play in Hartford all year, they should make another one of these moves. Also need a 4A D and veteran goalie.

Good fourth-liner to go with Smith and Boo. But strikes me as a guy who would yell "it's a damn walrus! ridiculous!" after shooting seven feet wide of the net.

I honestly think Smith is going to be the 4A defenseman.

So long Zbad!

We found our 1C boys. We've reached a whole new level of Synergy.

Panarin-McKegg-Buch
Kakko-Boo-Kravtsov
Chytil-Howden-Anderson
Lemmy-Marc Staal-Chara

I'm glad you specificied that it was 'Marc'. I would of spent an afternoon planning trade propositions that included Jared.

4A players. Help for Hartford. McKegg has also played in 132 NHL games with 24 points. He's a center.

O'Regan is also a center who has 25 NHL games to his name with 5 points.

I like that- Talked about O'Regan being a good possibility months ago.

Like the Gregg McKegg signing as well. 4A insulation, can pinch in on the 4th line.

I'm good with Shesty and Huska in HFD. Smith for Hartford vet D.
It's always good to have an established veteran in the AHL. Say someone gets hurt--who is the other goalie in the AHL? It's also good in case someone struggles and needs to spend time in the ECHL (obviously would only be Huska in this instance). Either way, even if it's an AHL deal they need another goalie under contract.
