Bickel is the worst hockey player I've had the displeasure of watching

And AV to contend with as well. One reason I like AV over Torts is AV doesn't just throw guys in the lineup because they have a pulse and keep them there: Bickell, Mitchell, Asham, Gilroy for awhile. Jesus Christmas.

What I find interesting about this signing is he is actually a great fit for AV's system with his playing style. The quality just isn't there. Sadly I think he could have been a decent NHL player but for the awul coaching of Sacco. He ruined him.

Very pleased to see the continued additions for the Pack. The backline and the goalies were woefully inadequate last year. They signed DGM and Lenevue (too late to save the season), but the blueline was still bad (especially after Allen started to tire). That won't be the case this year.

Just for the record, Hunwick is a pretty decent D. Not on par with say a Diaz, who is above avg even for a top 4 D in some areas but weaker in other areas. I don't think Hunwick has the same potential. But he is a sharp good hockeyplayer. Perfectly decent depth signing.

I would rather have Rick Nash playing D than Hunwick. He is not a good Dman. He had one okey year in Boston 5 years ago. Thats it.
