Of all the signings today, other than Dominic Moore, this is the one that i like.

Solidly built for a shorter guy. Very good skater. Good skill. Good upside.

25 years old. It would take an injury or a player falling off considerably to get a look in the NHL. Too bad he isn't 2 years younger.

Kampfer was drafted by Anaheim.

Gorton was let go by the time Kampfer got to the Bruins.

But, I have no doubt this was a Gorton pickup.
