What did everyone think of the event at Bowlmor? I thought it was pretty much the same as last year. Different parts of the space were separated and players took turns coming through and posing for photos and signing. Kakko was the only one that didn't sign. They had a buffet for food and soft drinks and a cash bar. Everyone was given an access card for free video games as well. All in all, it was exactly like last year but seemed like there were less people.

Hi,
I ended up having to go out of town for a last minute business trip so I couldn’t make it.

My wife and kids went. I haven’t spoke to them yet on the specifics but sounded similar to last year from what I heard so far.

Do you feel it was a bad thing if it was the same?

I know my kids really enjoyed it. For 2 of them they attended last year too and still seemed to be really happy. For my other daughter this was her first time and she texted me thanking me for getting the tickets, she really enjoyed it.
For my wife to take them alone to NYC it was definiely a big deal for them to go again. LOL!

Less people isn't necessarily a bad thing in my mind.
It got a little crazy last year and they started to rush people through a few times where things got backed up. For example we had to take groups shots with a few players instead of individual shots.
Or did you mean less players? Seemed to be similar with the number of new and veteran players but I haven't done the math yet.
I had a really good time last year myself and was disappointed I couldn't make it this year.

Kakko did sign though. He signed my sons shirt and both of my daughter's jerseys.

My son was ecstatic that he got Igor to sign his Wolf Pack Jersey. He wore it specifically because he knew he was going to be there.

Not at all. I thought it was great. I don't remember last year being crowded or forced into any group shots. I wish the non-kid event was at sparse as this. I'm pretty sure Shesterkin wasn't supposed to be there. It was originally supposed to be Giorgiev. I didn't see Kakko signing for anyone. I only got one because I was ready and didn't want a photo.

Hi,
I wasn't sure if you were happy about that or not :)
Definitely prefer less of a crowd if possible.

Last year wasn't crazy but once or twice they tried to move us along.

My wife told me in their group Tony D wasn't signing. Only one of my daughters was able to get a signature then a woman from the Rangers said they are not having him sign anymore and only doing picture to keep the line moving.
Seemed to depend on how backed up the line was getting and each group area was likely different depending on who and how many people were lined up.

Igor I think was supposed to be there. Georgiev based on the email they sent out Tuesday morning was not.
Hajek ended up getting called up to the Wolf Pack so I assume that's why he wasn't there.

We can’t wait to see you on Tuesday at Bowlmor Times Square for Rangers Family Night. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of bowling with Rangers players Kaapo Kakko, Igor Shesterkin, Greg McKegg, Tony DeAngelo, Ryan Strome and Libor Hajek and Rangers Alumni Brian Mullen, Stephane Matteau, Glenn Anderson, and Tom Laidlaw.*

Anyone have an issue with the $5 off $20 for concessions? I bought over $20 of food/non-alcoholic drinks not game, said I was using my chase card, but just noticed full price on my statement.

Normally never have a issue.

However if you pay at one of the kiosks, where we place your order and pay and then go pickup your food, you must insert or swipe your card after selecting that you’re using Chase.
I learned the hard way that Apple Pay from my phone or watch doesn’t give you the $5 off.

I was put in touch with the Director concessions who said it should work. I eventually figure it out on my own.

If I pay at a register I can use my card or Apple Pay and it works. It is dependent on the cashier doing it correctly though. I always check before paying. If they don’t indicate it’s a Chase card on their end it won’t work.

As an IT person I don’t see why they can’t recognize it’s a Chase card and automatically take the discount off. Frustrates me.

Also found out the other night chicken tenders with fries and with a bottle of water is $19.50. What the heck?
Charge me the 50 cents more lol. Usually if I’m close I just but Candy or an extra drink.
My kids are like why ? I say you’ll thank me later when you want a snack.

I also ring up/order meals separately and pay separate to get $5 off each $20 meal.
That drives my kids crazy too but it adds up :) Someday when they're paying they'll understand.

Anyone remember if there is a Happy Hour this Friday? Feel like I signed up for one months ago, but quite possible I have my dates wrong.

Yeah, there is one on Friday. I don't remember if I RSVP'ed to one.

Thanks for posting, got the email confirmation a few hours later, was a nice time. Not overly crowded, and a nice sized space. Probably didn't wait 30 seconds for a new drink.

Thoughts?
I've been to a few NYCFC games and there was barely anyone there. I am not enough of a fan to know if it was because the team was bad, or they were playing at Yankee Stadium. I've been to about the same number of Red Bulls games and had a much better time.

NYCFC average attendance is 21k vs RedBull attendance of 17k. Maybe the difference you felt was due to watching a soccer game in a baseball stadium rather than a soccer stadium.

Perhaps I went on a day with below average attendance.

Anyone else get an email just now about the 20-21 season? I selected auto-renew a few years ago. Anyone know if a) it can be changed, and b) if I waited too long to do it for next year? I'm on the fence about renewing and I didn't think the perks were that fantastic.

Yeah, I also got the email that I had RSVP'ed to Friday's event. Space was nice, not too crowded. Bartenders were doing a good job. Wished they had a better selection of hors d'oeuvres. Just saw meatballs, tater tots, and pretzels. Too bad the weather wasn't warmer, would have been nice to go outside and check out the views.

Are prices remaining the same assuming another non playoff finish?
