Tickets: Rangers Season Ticket Holder Talk

The presale is definitely at 10 am tomorrow. Normally they send an email 1-2 days before announcing the sale, and that the password will be sent on that day. Presumably they did that because they think we're morons who can't crack the top secret password "RANGERS" or something similar and don't want it circulating around too early or too many people will get it. Now they don't even want it circulating that there's a sale at all LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Seriously, this is dumb.

It's no secret and there's no savings to the presale. Just give us each a unique presale code for all events once and for all and nobody will circulate it. The Yankees give your account a code and it never changes. So if you give or hawk it to someone, they have your code forever and can jump you on all the presales. As you can imagine that stops sharing cold.
 
Thanks for the response, I just got my email and they said the code will be sent out some time before 10am today.

When I get pre-sales from the Giants, I have to use my account number as my password. There pre-sales are also run through ticketdisaster, so not sure why the Rangers can't do the same.

The Rangers & Yankees print your account number on the tickets, so anybody you sold tickets to would have your password

If it were really for STHs "only", it would be a unique password for each STH. This is a bull**** sale and everybody knows it. A friend of mine who isn't a STH got it and emailed me this morning

from today's announced prices, the lowest will be $88, so looks like a 70% total markup on ticketmaster over the STH price
 
I got the email at 8am........typical bs code that anyone can guess. Its really stupid. My friend just tried to get tix and said the cheapest was $168 or barstool seats for 2nd round 188.
 
I got it but I already ordered my seats for the whole playoffs. PM if anyone needs it.

Also, does anyone who purchased the entire playoffs know when we can expect our tickets? I just did mine for email/print-at-home delivery, not the mail/pick-up option.
 
No offense to anyone but I like to have the actual stub, especially for playoffs or big games. I saved all mine from the 11-12 playoffs, and all the opening night. messier night etc....I do same for yankees. Id be pissed if we never got the option for the actual book being sent to us. As for this tix...the markup is RIDIC, and this presales are beyond BS. AFter the 1st lockout you could get into the playoffs no problem in the blues for 50-60 bucks. Today 1st round cause STH 78 and on secondary market for anyone else probably 125 in blues...its a complete joke. Unless youre a season ticket holder, youre NOT getting in the playoffs without paying double face for the 1st round. Imagine SCF, probably get 400 a ticket in the blues!!

id say definitely.. in 11-12 i had my tickets listed for home game 1 of the finals for 660 each and someone bought them. sat in the old section 420.
 
Anyone pull up anything in the "cheaper" seats? I only searched for round 1 home game 3 on my phone and the cheapest I pulled up was the bridge for $199 per.
