My blue seats for the last game of the season just sold on the ticket exchange for a listed $80 a piece. $160 for the pair. So $144 to me. Personally I rather that money go towards my round by round credit for 1st round of playoffs, so i sold it.

Both come up as Goal for me.

This is what comes up for me. Looks like the pricing is listed correctly, but the colors are wrong for 214, as they should show as purples (like 221 and the rest of the goal sections) opposed to green/orange. And why do they list Row 2 as "Gallery 2nd Row Goal/Bar Stools"? It's confusing as people often ask me if my Row 2 Gallery seats are bar stools or actual seats. lol

Good to get rid of them now if you're looking to make some money. I remember that last game against the Devils last year was going for a ton until we clinched in Carolina and then they went into the tank, especially on game day. Good chance we could have a spot wrapped up by the Buffalo game so it wouldn't shock me to see prices go the other way again.

Gotcha. Yea, I noticed the barstool thing as well. Was thinking of moving/upgrading, so I was curious.

They just charge the same price for the barstools in each end zone so they made it one category. On the one end (other team shoots twice side), there's really no seats because of the wheelchair section so the barstools are pretty much row 2 seats in that regard.

stubhub fee change -

Dear Valued Seller,
Have you noticed we’ve rolled out a variable fee structure for some NHL and NBA events? We’ve made this change to help drive more sales for you. If we see an opportunity to raise sales by lowering fees, we’re going to take it. We plan to continue to do this with other events and genres too, including concerts, theater, and other sports.
We’re not going to spam you every time we adjust a fee. And for now there won’t be any fee increases, so the price the buyer sees will be lower and more competitive.
If we do adjust a sell fee for an event after you've already created a listing, your payout will only increase, and if that happens we’ll tell you about it in advance.
If you’re a manual lister setting the ‘buyer sees’ price through the listing flow, it’s possible the price you set could decrease if the buyer fee is adjusted for that event. This means the buyer is paying less and your payout remains the same—win, win!
As always, we appreciate your loyalty and commitment to selling on StubHub. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

My rep told me that they will do upgrade and downgrade process at the same time this year so maybe it means when your time comes, you will see all available seats and not only those at your current price level and up? And also allow you to select lower price seats than your current level?

That would be something - I guess we'll find out in June

I can't imagine there's so much demand for overpriced lower bowl seats that they don't care if people move out. Maybe they figure that they were losing long time STHs and would just rather keep them even if they gave up their big revenue generating seats? Maybe they figure NOTHING will be available for downgrade? Maybe people threatened to sue them? Who knows

Is your rep Gretchen by any chance?

I just realized that this might not work to my advantage. I have had seasons for 34 years so I will go pretty early in the process. I want to downgrade from row 1 to row 2 gallery seats but the only downgrades I would see would be from people that didn't renew. Tickets from other people downgrading or upgrading might not be available until a later date when it's their turn.

That was the way it was until 2 seasons ago. I was told the Rangers and the Knicks are going back to the old way this season. All relocations are based strictly by tenure after all preexisting STHs get a chance to keep their current seats. There will not be as much movement as in the past due to slightly less seats in the upper bowl.

I assume you will have access until the process ends so you just need to keep checking.

Hello Rangers STH,
I was looking to purchase 2 Season Tickets for next season and have been working with a rep. I was going to put down a deposit, as I was told by my rep that there is a decent chance to get 2 tickets in the 200s,300s, or 400's. Based on experience will this be hard to do? Is it worth it to buy season tickets? Unfortunatley I have been priced out of the lower bowl. I am willing to put down a deposit and take a chance, I just dont want to look foward to getting 2 seats upstairs and be dissapointed.

From everything I've read on here in the past few seasons, you won't be able to get a pair in the 200s. You would either have to settle for a single, or get a pair in the lower level. Then in your second year, you'll have a better chance of downgrading to the 200s, although it's not guaranteed, and you might lose your 100s. Not sure why a rep told you theres a decent chance for you to jump right into 200s or 400s.

You will have to put a $250.00 deposit down for each ticket, you don't lose that money, and can use it towards individual tickets if you decided to not get a package.

It might be hard for you to get the 200 sections, especially the real upper ones, since these have been in the hands of season ticket holders for years. I just dumped my tickets, I am in the 200 section gallery front row center ice, paying 165.00 a ticket for a full season for 2 seats, way too much money. My playoff invoice alone was over 10k. I fell off my chair.

I would not purchase a full season unless you plan to go to every game because unless they are 100.00 dollars or less, will be very hard to sell at face value.

But like I said, you don't lose that money, so take a chance you might get lucky.

How come you didn't try to downgrade your seats instead of getting rid them?
I have row 1 gallery seats in the corner, $135 face and I am going to try to downgrade them for next season.

The way the system works you only have the option to downgrade after you renew your current seat. If you definitely don't want to chance getting the same seats as you currently have then you should not renew. In your case you have row 1 seats so you will have to renew those. Since you only want row 2 seats you are basically rolling the dice and hoping a similar set opens up in row 2 or else you are back to your row 1 seats unless you decide to move out of gallery seats

Anybody know if the Delta Club will have the same offerings for the Liberty as for the Rangers & Knicks? I'm looking to take my daughter to a game this summer

Although I would strongly prefer row 2 seats, its not the end of the world if I still end up in row one.
I just did a calculation on the games I sold and even with selling several games at $50 to $60 less than face value I ended up with an average sell price of $10 above face value. This is better than I thought. I would still like to get row 2 so the games I do attend cost me $172 per pair instead of $274 per pair for next year's Gallery seats. For the games I use all 4 tickets I would save about $200 per game at face value by getting row 2 seats.

300s? I would be wary of those. That could mean Bridge Seats at $140 per! Way overpriced. Decent seats, nice set up, but should be priced same as Lower 200s, not almost double.

Took a group this year, and never will again at that price.
