I like Ciccolini and a year ago, he would have been an easy pick in this tie-breaker but Själin's strong start to the season has caused me to believe there's a small chance he is actually offered an ELC next year.

Ciccolini finally recovered from his overextended elbow injury should have a better season and I expect him to climb in next year's rankings

For me Ciccolini has a chance in the next couple years to rise in our rankings. This a big year for him and he needs to take a step forward.

So I went with Sjalin though it may be his last hurrah but so far it's been a good year for him.

As an aside and off on a tangent I do think at this point in our draft rankings having a signed contract with the Rangers does mean something as in the case of Rueschoff. Being on the playin roster and getting a second contract means something too as in the cases of Fontaine and Crawley.

....as well I think it's premature to give up on Ragnarsson.
