I like Berard but I went with Khodorenko here. The pedigree, the talent. I think he has NHL potential, with a middle-6 ceiling (if everything works out).

Berard is next for me though.

Voted Khodorenko over Richards because of the Russian bias :sarcasm: (and love for Ice and Fire series).

Add Skinner (another decent prospect who did well in D+1 year but impacted by the Rangers outstanding depth).

I know Brett Berard is the new flavor of the week, and like Cuylle saying he models his game after Tom Wilson people will be drawn to Berard because he models his game after Marchand, but Khodorenko is right there and he has the built up pedigree of actually having a legit shot to be an NHL center.

Berard would be next for me here and in a year the two could be reversed depending on how it goes

Seriously how much separation is there between undrafted Khodorenko and Richards vs. Morgan Barron drafted in late rounds?

Add Skinner or Aaltonen
... or Huska or Garand or Rykov
(This depth is a good thing ...

Rykov was hurt .hes got a shot still

Unless I don’t see the context (if you are replying to a post I can’t see) my disappointment with Rykov is based on him being a 3rd pair on CSKA at this point. I just don’t see him being in the future NHLer discussion if can’t get himself onto top pair or 2nd at worse.

I believe he was in CT last August...or was that the other Fin?

He was at our prospect camp, but not our training camp.

Reunanen was at our prospect camp and looked fantastic. He was one of the last cuts.

And honestly, from what (little) I've seen of Pajuniemi, I don't get a Zucc vibe. But if he IS that adaptable of a player, that would be fantastic. And it would help explain away how he seems to have played more passive in Liiga than he did against his peers as a junior: just adapting to a strategy that worked at that level.
