Toughest vote of the poll likely.

Miller has the boom potential, Lundkvist is the safer bet but a little lower potential. By the end of the year I may change back but Lundkvist made more progress the last 6 months than Miller so he's going to slip in ahead of him for now.

This is my view as well. Word for word, basically.

I went with Miller. I think Lundkvist is having a better season and is more likely to turn into a quality NHL player, but Miller has franchise #1 defenseman potential and those guys are so tough to find.

Add Barron.

Nils slightly over Miller. Robertson slightly over Reunanen, Barron, Keane, Pajuniemi and Henriksson. All those are really close too IMO.

I think transition defense is where Miller is already ahead of Lundkvist, and is about on par in offensive zone play but will probably be better long term. Where he's behind is obviously the defensive zone play but given his background - it is where he should progress the most and is an easier area to learn. He's probably already a better boards defender than the Swede. By the slightest of margins I go with Miller.

Add Keane. I have a difficult time choosing the 2nd add between Huska, Reunanen, Barron and Pajuniemi. By ceiling it's probably Reunanen (top-4), Barron / Paju (middle-6 winger) then Huska (back-up). By readiness it Huska, Reunanen then Barron / Paju. I guess Reunanen is the 2nd add for me.

This one was so tough, but I have to edge out Miller here given the higher potential. Nils is objectively having a better season, and I think he's a lock to be a 2nd pairing defenseman. However, K'Andre has him beat on the size and skill department, and I think we see him have a higher peak than Nils.

Add Keane and Barron

Miller has slightly higher upside and is a better fit in the organizational structure. But I think Nils is the better prospect in the abstract. Voted Nils.
