got some 'top 20' love in the Athletic article ranking NYR prospects, and scored today

But getting hard to choose
Newell had a good week,
Ronning got called up and may play AHL games again soon,
Hughes not scoring much but playing in every game as a freshman in HE

Remember when people called Wheeler a hack for ranking Kravtsov in the 30s and Fox in the top 10 for all NHL prospects last year?

I take all evaluations with some doubt, but this guy's articles show genuine consideration of each guy, and supported often by video examples
If Elmer is in his top 20, seems fair to have him in our top 33 8^)

Yea I agree. It’s too bad guys like him and Pronman get called hacks by people who have slight disagreements with their rankings. Agreed with Elmer. It’s not all about boxcar stats.

Ciccolini.

Add Newell. I know he's older, but he's a little jitterbug out there who plays with good energy and has decent skill. Not totally inconceivable that he gets shifts in the NHL on a fourth line in his career. I like him a lot better than Ronning, who is younger.
