Wall. Gilmour. I like Wall--he's having an excellent year this year. Lowell's not exactly a powerhouse and Wall has a 1.90 GAA and a .928 GAA.

Fogarty, add Ronning.

From the current voting, I'm curious as to why Lindbom seems to be running away with the vote. Even among G prospects, Wall and Huska have both proven far more. Is it just because he was a recent 2nd rounder, and we're trusting our scouts?

UML isn't a power, but they're a really good team. 14th in Pairwise. They're ahead of teams like Notre Dame, Providence, Union, BU, Minnesota, Michigan and Michigan State, etc. Like they have done the past few seasons, they're really good at limiting shots--they give up about 26 per game which is ninth in the country. Last year I believe they were eighth. That's not to say that Wall doesn't deserve praise; he has by all accounts been very good this year which is great considering last year went about as poorly as one could have imagined.

"Allaire loves him!"

And also, Huska and Wall are splitting the other goalie vote.

That's admittedly the biggest point, but there is more to it that. He was great at U18's and was ranked 53rd overall in McKenzie's poll of NHL scouts. I also don't think the 5 games this year in a season he has been dealing with injuries mean that much either way. It's not like the other guys left in the poll are stud prospects at this point either.

Yeah, and NHL CSS had him the fifth-ranked goalie in his class (yet he went first). McKeen's had him 91st. And on and on. We can pick and choose which rankings we want to go by all day. In the end, he's a raw goalie who has been good in international competition but never in club competition who is basically in the midst of a lost season. I have nothing against him but for me, he'd be an Honorable Mention at best. When he demonstrates he can perform in a setting where everyone isn't his age, I'll gladly move him up my rankings. Until then, I don't have much to go by. But I'm tired of talking about this guy so w/e.
