Why even vote then if you are just gonna pick who you think will win anyway?

Not what I am doing. Lindbom is my second choice, and in case it comes down to a few votes between him and somebody else, I want to contribute to the guy I think should be there.

Pajuniemi isn't going to win yet, and I already spent six+ rounds trying to add him; I'm not going to be just as irrelevant for that long in the actual voting.

That said, it looks like voting is heavily in favour of Lindbom now; I was expecting Gettinger to be closer than he is.

This will probably be unpopular, but I would add Gropp. He's always had the skating and shooting ability to be a top six player and he closed out the season with 13 points in his last 16 games on a train wreck of a team in the AHL. I'm not saying it's the most likely outcome, but if things have clicked for him, he could have a legitimate shot at being a top 6 NHL player and that puts him ahead of the remaining prospects, who either have limited upside or also long shots, in my opinion.

There has been a vocal group that Lindbom should have been in, but when he gets in at #19 he will likely be biggest raiser from #25 last time around. Not sure what he did to catapult himself that much last season, especially with so many new players being added to the list :dunno:

imo as time passes the hatred over where he was picked is being held against him less

Getting a spot on an SHL team as a 19 year old after a season derailed by injuries is a pretty good accomplishment

He had a pretty good season

Lindbom has the most likelihood to have any semblance of a significant impact on the franchise of any player left imo
