Rempe. Mancini.
If there are sure bets to make our team next year of the above list it is Jones and Rempe. For totally different reasons for sure but I don't have much doubt that Matthew has an NHL career ahead of him. There is the question of how people value the skillset he has which is not very likely to have more than a 4th line ceiling. That said if he went on waivers (not that he's eligible for another year) my guess is that he'd be scooped up by just about every team in the league. He's something of a unicorn right now. That said the other thing is his entertainment value and his pretty much folk hero status---closest comparable to the Rangers past is Nick Fotiu. He cleans up his skating issues and learns to fight smarter he'll be more than just a one trick pony. I'm betting he will and we'll start seeing more progress this training camp.
As far as Mancini I think he has an outside shot at playing some games for the Rangers this year.
