Gets pretty interesting for the next bunch of votes.

I don't even know who to go with i'm back and forth on 3-4 players. I'll give some love to my man Sykora though, even though I don't think he comes close here, but Gerard and EJ are all next to each other.

Add Fortescue

Went with Jones, Not a ton of upside, maybe 2nd pair at some point, but he may well be a regular THIS year.

Add Fortescue.

Kinda low on Emery. He's just still too raw.

Add Edström
he should make the team this year simply because IIRC he is no longer waiver exempted.

Not sure how Jones is getting votes and could potentially move up from #7 from 6 months ago. DId those 13 games, and 4 points he scored from Jan-April skyrocket him up the standings somehow?

Emery. Just a touch ahead of Garand, who I'd like to see more consistency from.

Add Laba.

@The Crypto Guy both Matthew Robertson and Karl Henriksson are eligible to be added since they did end up receiving their QO.

He's already a good NHL player. The team that won the President's trophy was arguably better with him than without him. Othmann and Berard are solid prospects but it's not a sure thing that they ever turn into good NHL players and I think it's hard to argue they have much more upside than a defenseman who scored the same amount of points as them in the same league at the same stage of his development.

I think it was a mistake to have him at #7 and he's getting kind of sabotaged here being deemed eligible after everyone had already voted on who to add and then having us jump straight to 4 before he has the chance to get a vote.

Add Laba.

To ME he looked good. I'm not speaking for anyone else. I just see him being an NHL regular this year and that's more than I can say for a lot of others even in two years.
I guess if I look at it as who would I trade for whom, I might have voted differently.

Jones

Already a 3LD based on what I've seen from him and has room to grow. Could ve a 2nd pairing type that could lead a PP one day ( won't be here though).

Add Edstrom. 3rd line potential and should have been on the 4th line instead of Rempe.

He looked good in most facets of the game. And the seas have parted for him in this roster as currently constructed. Had NYR gone out and signed a veteran number 6 and/or number 7 options so far I might be more hesitant, but as of today, which is when I voted, the kid has a clear line to the job.

I couldn't be happier for him either because I was starting to lose hope. Gustafsson signed for relatively little which I take from management to be a tacit endorsement of the kid as a project moving forward.

Add Laba, then once he's up I'd look to Mancini. What Noah has done relatively on his own as a young NCAA player deserves attention. He should absolutely be in this team's top 10 prospects.
