Not fully on board with Berard dropping 4 spots to 8, and some think he should be at 9-10. Robertson over him is crazy IMO. And stil not sure what Gerard did last season to warrant him passing him. Again, aside from 8 good games in the playoffs, he didn't play all that well his first season in the AHL.

His whole team underachieved last season. Everyone was so excited for him 6 months ago. Not sure why all of a sudden he is so frowned upon. I have him around 6.

His play at the WJC is part of it imo. He went from looking great in a depth role the previous year, to this year looking completely overmatched. Stylistically he really didn't resemble his previous self at all.

you won't be the first, or the last
and we'll see if I'm right about he should have been higher incl over ZJ

Thats why we discuss
I also think Robertson and Garand are more likely than Berard to be better NHL’ers
But I think rating Berard in top 10 is neither ‘frowning upon’ or disrespect
To me, because BMB grabbed 7, Robbie is 8, BB 9, (I’d have both ahead of BMB)
and the next tier cohort seems to me even tighter to sort out

Berard had a crappy year all told. Who knows what the cause was. Maybe he's one of those guys who peaks at 19. I personally doubt that and put more stock into what I saw from him during his D+1 and D+2.

Berard over Robertson? That’s a lot of projecting.

Add Edström.
Robertson will walk the next round anyway. I think Berard better NHL bet than Robertson. Guys like Berard tend to find a role. Robertson lower margin for error

In terms of guys I think may have a NHL future that haven't been added yet:

Scanlin
Edstrom
Ollas
Fortescue
Lamb
Mancini
Rempe

for this round, add Scanlin and I went with Berard.
