Henriksson, add Rempe.

Henriksson is finally eligible to play in the AHL this season so we get a look at what he can do playing in a role the Rangers want him in. His lack of production in the SHL was a worry but let's see what he does this season. The talent is still there.

Add Chmelar, the move to NCAA, and WJC spot, got my attention

Henriksson

add ANY ONE OF
Kjellberg, Simon (D)
Lindbom, Olof (G)
Ollas, Hugo (G)
Rempe, Matt (F)
Rueschhoff, Austin (F)
Scanlin, Brandon (D)

Going with Emberson. Henriksson is next for me but hope they are reversed on the next poll in the winter. For now, Emberson is closer.

add Chmelar. feels Like something might be there.

If we're looking at guys like Chmelar, we really ought to first take a look at Kalle Vaisanen. Vaisanen made his WJC team last season, played 30+ Liiga games where he didn't look at all out of place, and when he was in the U20, he played at a PPG pace.

Chmelar on the other hand (who was also picked 40 picks later than Vaisanen) really struggled to produce in the Finnish U20, which is not a particlarly strong league--he was 13th on his team among regular and semi-regular players. He also missed out on his WJC team initially.

Based on production and pedigree, to this point, Vaisanen has definitely outperformed Chmelar.
