C Filip Chytil won round 5. LW Ryan Gropp is added to the poll.

RULES CHANGE:

Since HF no longer functions beyond the forum, no reason to have their old rules. We do, however, need the same rules for everyone or else the rankings mean nothing.

SKATER PROSPECT: A player 24 or younger with 50 or fewer NHL games.

GOALIE PROSPECT: A player 25 or younger with 25 or fewer NHL games.

EXCEPTION 1: If a player completed the required 50/25 games, but is still not regarded as an NHL regular because he's shuffling between the NHL and the AHL, he could still be a prospect as long as he's 24 or younger and if agreed upon by most people here.

EXCEPTION 2: A player who is no older than 25 years old at the time of the vote and is a borderline NHLer could still count if agreed upon by most people here.

Please vote on who to add to the next round of polling.

Close call between Graves and Bereglazov. Top-3 defenseman in the AHL vs top-3 in the KHL. Graves is over a year younger and I have seen him a lot, so let's go with him. He has terrific tools, just not a big enough tool set yet. Not married to my choice since I don't know Bereglazov enough, but why would I choose a guy I don't know over one I do when they have similar profiles and the guy I know is also younger.

Add Nieves.

Can't ignore a kid that was one of the leading dman on the championship KHL team. Went with Bear Gloves. Add Boo because I love his game if 1) he can stay healthy and 2) he stops getting the heebie jeebies and shoots the damn puck. Does everyone remember that 2-on-1 where he actually opted to pass to Marc Staal instead of taking a wide open shot?

Yeah, it was a similar type of choice for me.

I think its close, but Graves is younger and I think he has more potential. Both are NHL ready, not a big difference in NHL readiness.

Try again

For me, add Nieves.
