D Sergey Zborovskiy won round 14. Joseph Stalin, errr... D Calle Sjalin is added to the poll.

RULES CHANGE:

Since HF no longer functions beyond the forum, no reason to have their old rules. We do, however, need the same rules for everyone or else the rankings mean nothing.

SKATER PROSPECT: A player 24 or younger with 50 or fewer NHL games.

GOALIE PROSPECT: A player 25 or younger with 25 or fewer NHL games.

EXCEPTION 1: If a player completed the required 50/25 games, but is still not regarded as an NHL regular because he's shuffling between the NHL and the AHL, he could still be a prospect as long as he's 24 or younger and if agreed upon by most people here.

EXCEPTION 2: A player who is no older than 25 years old at the time of the vote and is a borderline NHLer could still count if agreed upon by most people here.

Please vote on who to add to the next round of polling.

Kovacs. I don't care about his stats, a 19 year old sticking in the AHL is an accomplishment. He has a good game if you watch him play.

Add Crawley.

I usually agree with you on this things, but I disagree here.

Kovacs didn't stick in the AHL because he was good, he stuck because they decided not to move him. He was pretty bad, even when he did get stints with better players.

I didn't really see any standout tools either, and almost all of the season he was 20 years old, not 19.

Gettinger

Add Ty Ronning because he had a good season on a really bad team and then had a good stint with Hartford.

Curious. Did Chytil and Anderssen make the top 5 because they're the new kids on the block? Or, are they really deserved of those spots? Are they THAT good?

I admittedly am not up to par with everything concerning our kids (draft picks).

I heard Anderssen has a real shot at making the big club. Is that true?

There's been a lot of speculation from pundits and fans alike that Andersson may be able to stick over here. There's also a lot of upside there.

Chytil was extremely young for his class and the hot topic of discussion is that he would have gone top ten in the next draft had he been a couple weeks older and not eligible for this draft. So a lot of people regard him as a top ten-caliber guy. Again, lots of upside there.

The upside is there for both of them.

With that said, with some guys graduating, there really wasn't a ton of high-end competition beyond a small handful of prospects.

Gettinger, add Barron.

Don't really rate Jensen at this point. Unless he becomes the next magical PA Parenteau story he's probably going to have to settle for a career in Europe.

The offense doesn't have to blossom Parenteau-style. He has the skill set to play a fourth line game, right now. It's just a matter of finding the right opportunity.
