Nieves. I get the injury concerns but feel more strongly about the fact that he's close to being ready and is a great fit for our system.

I like Gropp but still wonder about how we'll he'll do with less time and space in the pro ranks. He scores plenty of goals on juniors because he has ample time to get off his shot. Not sure it's going to translate. He's not particularly physical and isn't ever going to be an offensive catalyst. He's a guy that will be reliant on his linemates to find him in space and I'm just not sure it's going to work for him. Hope to be wrong, if I am he's a nice weapon for the PP.

nieves. he's got size and speed. at worst he's a bigger faster dom moore and ill take that right now.

not a huge gropp guy

if y'all are smarter than me, and both these guys prove better than Wall, great news for NYR

Close for me, but give me Boo for now. That said, if Gropp lights up the AHL he'll shoot up these rankings by winter. Definitely rooting for the kid.

Gropp has had injuries too. Nieves is another one of those working out at the Prentiss camp this summer--so I strongly suspect the concussions aren't bothering him right now. He has the size, strength and the skating to compete for a 4th line job on our team next year. I don't think his upside after that is all that great but I think he's a realistic candidate for the 17-18 team.

Gropp for the upside.

Just don't think Boo brings enough to the table outside of speed to warrant ranking him higher.

It's Gropp for me. Don't have high expectations for Boo, but would love to be surprised.

I really like Wall. Goalies are so hard to project and he's still probably three years out from turning pro, so it's hard for me to vote for him here ahead of a guy that I'm fairly certain will be an NHL player. On upside Wall definitely deserves a higher spot, but he just happens to play the position with the highest bust potential IMO.

Nieves.

I get that he improved over the second half of the season, but as an overager and goal scorer It would take 45+ goals from Gropp to get me excited as a guy who was deemed not ready for Hartford.

Maybe he'll surprise, but strikes me as a 5% chance kind of maybe at this point. I'll go with Boo for his physical tools and the gaping holes in our bottom 6 that he could very possibly fill.

Nieves. I think he is more of a guarantee to turn into an NHL player of some sort.

Gropp has a higher ceiling but still has a not insignificant bust risk.

Going Boo simply because he has played in the NHL. I think this is a dead heat though.

Nieves easily has the best shot of making the NHL of anyone remaining, including Gropp. Not one remaining prospect has a top-6 potential, so a sure-fire bottom-6er is better than a long-shot bottom-6er.

I have to tell you, I'm not sold on him as a sure-fire bottom 6-er.

I think that's his upside, not necessarily his near-guarantee.
