Gotta go with Huska here. He's been a mainstay in Hartford for several season, which is likely a level higher than everyone else left on this list will get. Add Riley Hughes.

I mean Austin Rueschhoff will almost assuredly have a good AHL career, if not better.

Húska has played 50 games over 3 seasons and is 21-17-8 with a 3.02 GAA and .892 SV%. At his best, like last season, he was just decent. The biggest thing in his favor is that he's "only" 24. Hard to see him ever becoming more than an AHL regular, at this point, and unless he takes a big step I'd wager he ends up back in Europe moving forward.

I mean I would vote for him right after Rueschhoff, but I could understand why someone would prefer the upside of a Tärnström or a Chmelař. Can't see much upside left in Húska, honestly. And I've been his cheerleader since UConn when I always said he was a better prospect than Wall.

If Rueschoff was 21 or 22, I could see voting for him on upside, but he is 24 and only a few months younger than Huska, and I don't see him in a top-9 role for the Pack this season. Huska may be mediocre, but he is a legit AHL goalie and is an injury or two away from an NHL start.

Rueschhoff was also a rookie last year. This upcoming season is his 2nd pro season and first "normal" one.
