We just don't know if Lafrenière will be any better than Caufield long term. And Anderson has a lot of value.

I don't think the Rangers want to part ways with Lafrenière already. Huberdeau took a long time to blossom. That would be silly...

I love how there is doubt that LaFreniere will be better than Caulfield, when 101 games with 34 points is definitely a total I'd prefer to 39 games and 13 points. Not that the ratios much better, but most of two seasons beats less than half a season, all with Laf being younger.
