Panarin legit sucked tonight
Strome couldn't make a pass
Fast was kinda alright
Kreider is dead
Zibanejad sucked
Buchnevich is excused because of circumstance, but was horrific
Di Giuseppe exists
Chytil needs to figure out how to finish a play
Kakko needs to stop just "looking good"
Lemieux sucked
Howden always sucks
Gauthier needs opportunity (but also sucked)
Lindgren wasn't great
Fox seemed off, even more than others
Smith is not an NHL defenseman or forward
Trouba is just so meh
Staal I just straight up can't look at anymore
DeAngelo was like half our offense, and still sucked
Georgiev was meh
Quinn's response to Kreider getting hurt sucked
Puck luck sucked ass
Refs always suck, but Howden high stick was legit mystifying

Oh well. Rather suck big time and come out with fire on Sunday than lose a close one. Just get it done.
Don't @ me

Honestly, in the context of the Rangers getting their asses kicked the other time we played them this game is more worrisome to me than it would have been.

This gon get ugly. The predeadline hype and heater is over.

We were overdue for a really bad game. Played sloppy everywhere. Hopefully they clear their heads for Sunday

On mobile so missed most of the gdt. Did anyone make the "we'd be better with Hayes than Lemmy/Troubs" comment yet? Cause if not, dibs.

Gonna try to get this one in before the thread turns into a tire fire: yes, losing Kreider and Shesty came at the absolute worst time. However, it's still a really good opportunity for the younger players to learn what it takes to play in meaningful, tight games down the stretch. We may fall off a bit over this month, but you can't discount how important these experiences are for the kids. Let's just hope CAR continues to struggle too so we can add two more high picks to an already loaded roster of young talent. They'll still have some fat to trim, but these last 30 games paint a really bright picture for what the future of this team can hold.

Carter Hart's a good goalie. Give the kid credit.

Losing Kreider is devastating for this team.

Hopefuly Quinn doesn’t lose his mind with the new line combos. Lemieux should be nowhere near the PP. I don’t care if he’s scrappy in front of the net, the idea that he’s going to replace Kreider is just lunacy. They need to find a way to rework the PP in Kreider’s absence and not try and just plug Lemmy in there, because that ain’t it.

Give Gauthier and Kakko top 6 tries. Don’t start to overplay Howden. I feel like the decisions to try and rework the lines can completely torpedo the team. Make the wrong combinations and now instead of just losing one line now you’ll lose all of them.

At least we broke even on goal differential for the last two games. And 64 straight games without being shut out.

That loss was inevitable. They looked totally gassed against Montreal but were lucky that Montreal is trash. Philly is well rested, well coached, and unbeatable at home. I can accept the loss. The loss of Kreider though is devastating. Get some much needed rest tomorrow and give Hank the start Sunday and try and get some points. Columbus just got yeeted on by the Wild, they are done. That spot is up for grabs. Just hope Colorado holds on and beats Carolina.
