I like it. With the cap going up, this is "7th defenseman" money. Easily buried, easily moved, offers flexibility. If EJ develops more quickly than expected, they could probably get an asset in return for Urho at this money/term. No complaints.

Wouldn't it be CRAZY if we grabbed Marchand? A leader, a Captain and an asshole all rolled into one. What? They'd never trade him to the Rangers? Ummm, guess you never heard of Brad Park and Jean Ratelle going to Boston for an almost washed up Espo and Vadnais and Zanussi, so why couldn't this happen? Soucy not being hot glued to Fox will go against everything I've ever known about this organization.

I get why people don't want to be "doom and gloom" and see how it plays out, but it's a movie I've seen 49 times. I'm not gonna root for the ship to not hit the iceberg.

Ignoring Soucy, and looking at this in a vacuum, I like it.

It is nice that the bottom portion of the lineup is becoming all NHL players for once.

And there are options too if somebody's game goes to hell.

Playing Kevin Rooney in a do or die game and him causing the winning goal against was a tough pill to swallow.
