Prob trying everything he can to get Zib back on track.
Until Zib isn't dodging contact like 1999 Wayne Gretzky, it's not gonna matter. But kudos for him trying. Can't say he doesn't have faith in his guys.

There was a stretch in 2014 after the Rangers traded Callahan to the end of the season where they scored more goals shorthanded than they gave up.

I remember that actually, those were exciting times leading up to those playoffs...still don't remember us being as defensively sound then though

Show me a defenseman who never makes mistakes and I show you a figment of your imagination.

Otherwise you have to look at overall body of work and, in case of Miller keep in mind that this rookie has played the position for about 5 years. He does enough to make plays asked of him in a given situation and get help from his teammates.
I was here back when this fan base vilified "poke check Poti" for never hitting anyone. K is 6'5". Im telling you there's a stunning lack of physical game exhibited thus far. He's been far better than expected, but I'm not going to gloss over the fact that this aspect of his game has been completely absent. Overall I am not even a detractor of KM. I like his game. But he goes to another level with that facet and he hasn't shown it yet.

Ruff is a good coach. Look at what he's done in NJ --HFNYR in January
he's a 'fun and entertaining' coach. As we saw last year. He's not a coach you win with IMO

I honestly didn't realize how much he actually dictated the Rangers style/gameplay.
